Guild SUFO

Welcome to Save Us From Ourselves! You are now part of a very close knit group of people. Our guild is mostly real life friends and family, or players from my other guild from other game, and we have a wide distribution of ages. This is a VERY stable guild as many of the members have been here for anywhere from one to three years. Although the original SUFO in GW1 was deleted we moved to WoW where we grew very large. We hope you find the same fun we have all found here!

We are almost ALWAYS joking about everything,  Most of what is said should not be taken seriously. Keep things interesting and fun. Actually, this post is far more serious than you will ever see us online

Forum Use
Website use is very important for communication outside the game and is required for many events that will be posted as well as updating you on guild news. Because of this, you must register on this website using your name as your main charecter in Guild Wars 2. activeboard.com is free and private. Your information will not be shared or used for anything. In addition, you only need to submit personal information that you choose.

The only required submission is an email address.

Language and conduct guidelines on the forums are just like those of guildchat.

Do not use the forums to flame guildmembers. Doing so will cause your removal from the guild.

Guild Activity
One of the hallmarks of this guild is that you can play anyway you want. We have no expectation of playtime or how you spend your time while playing. Some like to level; some like to PvP; some like to just hang out and chat; some are obsessed with making gold;. Enjoy the game in the way that best suits you as long as that way is friendly and nonconfrontational. Be aware, however, that going a month without logging in to your guilded character may result in your removal from the guild.

Guildchat
Please be considerate of others in guildchat. We are a mostly-adult guild, so childish/disgusting comments will not be received warmly. Swearing should be kept to a minimum, and discrimination of any kind (race  sex, sexual orientation, etc.) will not be tolerated and may result in administrative action. Avoid crudity and offensiveness, and consider everyone's feelings. Innuendo, metaphors, and intimation are fine, but don't be crude. A good rule of thumb is just to spend some time watching how we interact with each other to get an idea of how we are. Also, give us some time to get to know you before making questionable statements or jokes.

Do not openly flame guildmembers in chat. If there is an issue with someone, handle it privately or contact an officer to help deal with the situation.

Guild Events

SUFO is known to push the boundries when it comes to new and exciting contests and events to keep you as the member a member forever.  However sometimes the urge to cheat comes up.  Any unsportsman like conduct usally will result in removal of the guild.  The contests are ment to be fun and they usally happen once a week so you will lose some and win some.

Recruitment
We are very glad to have you here and your friends are welcome to play with us, It is my true honest oppinion a large guild with a small guild feel is how a guild must be run that said anyone can join howeve. Be aware that you are partially responsible for the actions of any friend you suggest (or of anyone who uses your account and plays with us or uses guildchat), and if a recruit of yours needs to be removed for conduct, you may not be allowed to recruit anyone else for a period of time.  We understand some times stuff just happens it all depends on the situation and our officers take all of those things under consideration.

Multipul Guilds

We do NOT allow our members to be part of any other guilds other than SUFO or an SUFO Affiliate guild. If you are part of several guilds then in order to join SUFO you will be asked to leave all the guilds you are currently in. I am very loyal to my members and to my guild if you are part of several guilds then if one of those guilds begins to fail you may not try your hardest to help that guild. I expect my members to be as loyal to me as I am to them. Also if you have a guild you do not want to leave because they may be really good at PvP then let us know. We may be able to have you help us in PvP and the guilds PvP events.

However if the demand arises that we have so many players interested in PvP or PvE compared to the rest of the guild, we may decide to make multiple guilds under SUFO. These separate guilds if they are not able to be ran by myself will be given to certain qualified officers of SUFO to run and maintain. If that happens any SUFO member is allowed to switch back and forth between the SUFO owned guilds. If at some point an SUFO member joins another guild not affiliated with us you will be asked to leave the guild or leave SUFO.

Guild Bank
In Gw2 we will have a guild bank assuming this is a system much like WoW's guild bank there will be certian ranks of being able to take an item or what types of items can be deposited more info on this when i have it.
